Meet Braden

19 Jan

Braden is my 18 month old nephew.  He inspires me to stay active as it is not an easy chore chasing around a little one!  Braden is the son of my brother Brad and his beautiful wife Lindsey.  Brad is currently battling Lupus and is at the Cleveland Clinic, prayers are appreciated!

Braden’s Likes: Cheese Puffs, Barney, dancing, giggling, giving high fives, croutons, giving kisses and mac & cheese.

Braden’s Dislikes: Peppers, when you don’t get up and dance when he points at you, when you put away the crayons as he’s coloring, saying goodbye.

Swinging, Smiling

About once a week I will be posting a picture or video of Braden simply because if he brings a smile to my face, I have a feeling he can brighten your day too!

Simply adorable. I have 2 nephews which I have never seen in person, let alone held. Correction, I have seen the younger of the two in person but that was nowhere near planned. (I am willing to explain that to you later if youd like..) Little kids can almost always put a smile on everyones faces. It may sound strange, but I am glad that you get to be with Braden as much as you do. Every child is a miracle and sometimes, people don’t consider such things..

Thank you, Eric! How old are you nephews? It saddens me that you’ve never gotten to hold them, I hope that will someday change-soon! If not holding them, hugging them. I feel fortunate to see Braden a lot, especially with my brother battling Lupus, I get to see him even more often since Brad’s in Cleveland.

In all honesty, I could only guess at their ages.. id have to say. Almost a year and 2 1/2? I am sorry to hear about your brother but he’ll be in my prayers, along with you and your battle with RA. We all have very difficult moments in our own lives that hardly anyone talks about. After reading and hearing your story, I’m starting to want to let the world, (or at least some people), know mine..

So they are little ones! Though I am unaware of the situation that determines why you’ve never seen them-except once, pray that your sibling would allow that opportunity! I encourage you to share you story, it helps me articulate my feelings rather than speaking them. Also, you NEVER know who you will help simply by speaking up. Even if I only helped one person, I’d still do it.

I want to share it but it isnt the kind of thing that my father would want to see online.. and he reads everything I post.. but yes, they are very young..

What a CUTIE! That smile would brighten anyone’s day! I have a little brother that has just turned two and spending time with him always cheers me up! I loved “dislikes…when you dont get up to dance when he points at you”… too adorable!

THANKS 🙂 Aw, yes, little ones are so special and fun. Ha, it’s so true, he’s a dancing machine and wants everyone to be a part of that.
